Michael Lazzaro
Principal Pianist / Music Coordinator
Mr. Lazzaro received a bachelor of music degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, where his honors included the William Kurzban Prize in piano and election to Pi Kappa Lambda Honorary Musical Fraternity. After graduating, he became a member of the Institute's piano faculty and worked as an accompanist for the Cleveland Ballet. Prior to joining HARID, he was a company pianist for the Houston Ballet. Mr. Lazzaro oversees HARID's music studies curriculum and serves as an accompanist for guest teachers. He made his conducting debut at HARID in 1993 and, as time permits, continues to make appearances as a performing artist.

Haydee Steeves
Music Instructor and Accompanist
Haydee Steeves was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. She moved to Havana, Cuba when she was a child, and began her musical education there at the age of seven. Upon graduation from Cuba's National School of Arts, she began teaching at the Amadeo Roldan Conservatory. In 1980, Ms. Steeves moved to the United States and subsequently received a bachelor of fine arts degree from Florida Atlantic University and a master of music degree from the University of North Carolina.

Marina Stolyar
Music Instructor and Accompanist
Originally from Moscow, Marina Stolyar received her bachelor's degree from the Gnessin Music College and her master's degree from the Gorky State Conservatory. Since her arrival in the United States in 1991, she continues her career as a solo performer, musical director, and accompanist for ballet competitions and festivals (including Jackson and SERBA). She has also recorded several audio CD's for ballet class. Ms. Stolyar joined HARID in 1995.
